Aventurine is a deep green, translucent variety of Quartz that forms from the recrystallization of microcrystalline rock or sandstone. The name is derived from the Italian word "aventura," which means "by chance." The coarse and jagged surface of Aventurine brings with it a sense of earthly grounding and balance.
Aventurine is also known as Adventurine, Avanturine, Aventurine Quartz, and Indian Jade, among other names. It is utilised in a variety of applications, including jewellery, vases, bowls, and figurines, as well as landscape stone, construction stone, aquaria, and monuments.
