At Luna Luna, we are constantly on the lookout for unique pieces and there are seldom pieces as unique as a well formed fossil.

A fossil is basically a preserved evidence of a past life form or ancient organism. Fossils are made when an organism becomes trapped and then buried in sediment, and the process of mineralization hardens the remains. Fossils can be formed in sediments or in rocks, and they can also be made from other materials, such as amber.
